Description

I'm a professional home organiser and clutter consultant, working in depth with mental health and hoarding. I offer one-on-one decluttering therapy. I studied counselling because I strongly believe it is important, as a home organiser working closely with mental health and hoarding, to not only understand but to be able to work with you to tackle the emotional attachments and behaviours that have led to the situations I deal with.

I have studied level 4 counselling and psychotherapy and have enrolled in cognitive behavioural therapy level 4. I have a list of trainings behind me, a business diploma and 12 years of experience in social care, giving me the care and compassion I need to be able to come into a sensitive, emotional situation, which you may or may not have struggled with for a long time and help you achieve what you may feel is impossible.

I am myself a mother of three. I'm understanding, supportive and friendly. I have had to adhere to strict confidentiality for such a long time; this now comes naturally, as does maintaining dignity and respect.

I do not come into your home to tell you what you 'have' to get rid of; I will guide you to what would potentially benefit you if changes were made correctly. I will support your feelings; I will listen. But I will also motivate you to allow yourself to let go with patience and empathy. Offering you a safe place to talk about your circumstances and situations, judgement free. This is where my experience comes in, as I now have this to complete my work effectively to a high standard but including all the above.

I work one-on-one as a professional home organiser and hoarding consultant, for a day, a week, multiple weeks or for as long as you feel you need me. I am putting myself through studying counselling to achieve the standards of care I believe those I work with deserve, but also to gain a better understanding of why I am working with you and what extra support I can offer as part of my service.

I absolutely love my job, I take pride in everything I do, and I genuinely care for those I work with. Some people ask, as with many other jobs, how do you do it? I simply say it because I love it and it's where my heart is.
