Have you experienced sexual abuse, rape or trauma - either in childhood or later in life?
You may be living with feelings of shame, guilt, fear, anger, or confusion. Perhaps you experience flashbacks, find it dificult to trust, or notice physical and emotional reactions that feel overwhelming. These experiences can affect many aspects of life, leaving you feeling stuck, isolated, or uncertain about where to turn.
Taking the step to begin counselling can feel daunting. Opening up to someone new about deeply personal experiences can bring up fear and anxiety. Finding the right therapist - someone who feels safe, understanding, and supportive - is an important part of your healing journey, and it can make a real difference.
I am a trauma-informed therapist who works in a person-centred way, tailoring my approach to suit your individual needs.
Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions at your own pace. My aim is to support you in understanding your experiences and behaviours within a safe and compassionate space. I can help you manage the challenges you are facing right now while working towards building resilience and moving forward in a more positive and empowered way.
I offer ont-to-one counselling for adults in Rochester, Kent, London, and online. I work with both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on what feels right for you. To help you decide if I am the right fit, I offer an initial phone call where we can talk through your needs and see whether you feel comfortable working with me.
When you are ready, I am here to walk alongside you at pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
