I am currently a counsellor in training, approaching qualification at Level 3, with plans to progress to advanced counselling and psychotherapy. I'm working with charities in the North West dealing with group discussions and one to one with clients.

    I am a widow of nine years, and have been going through depression and grief. During this time, I never seek out help. That is until I met Mr. Davidson. John spent many hours speaking with me. Help me understand how grief can affect every aspect of your life, and how could cause depression. His taught me various breathing exercises and help me learn to meditate to help calm my anxiety and depression. Speaking with John has given me a new lease on life. I find it much easier to cope with things on a daily basis, and without the inspiration and help from John, I would not been able to publish my first book of poetry. With his encouragement and understanding, I was able to put my emotions on paper and pen in the form of poetic words.     Working with John has been a life-changing experience. After losing my partner in a tragic and unexpected way, I felt completely lost and overwhelmed by grief.     My session with John was great it was good to create boundaries and work on techniques to help me with my frustration I just left the military so was struggling with daily living, were booked weekly for the next few months to work with strategies to help with my new routine.
