Hello, my name is Maria, and I would like to offer a warm welcome to anyone who has come across my profile.
I recently moved to Shropshire with my husband, our Labrador, and our three cats. I am a proud mother of three grown-up children, and when I am not studying with my head buried in a book, I enjoy catching up with friends, taking part in a good pub quiz, and spending relaxing weekends away with my family.
I hold a BA (Honours) in Psychology & Criminology, a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, and an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills. I have also completed the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace.
I am currently furthering my knowledge and professional development by studying for an Advanced Counsellor & Psychotherapist Level 4 qualification, the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health, and an MSc in Mental Health Science.
Alongside my studies, I work as a Learner Support Volunteer with the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, where I am passionate about supporting others in their learning and personal development.
